Description: New Delhi, May 17 (ANI): A special National Investigation Agency (NIA) court in New Delhi, granted bail to suspected Hizbul terrorist Liaqat Shah, who was arrested by the Delhi Police for allegedly conspiring to carry out terror attacks in the national capital. Liaqat was granted bail on a personal bond of Rs 20,000 with a surety of the like amount. Liyaqat (45) was arrested on March 20 while crossing the Indo-Nepal border in Gorakhpur with his family. Liaqat had said that he had come to surrender under the Jammu and Kashmir government's rehabilitation policy. The Delhi Police, which arrested him soon after he had crossed the border, alleged that Liaqat was involved in the conspiracy to carry out terror attacks in the capital ahead of Holi. Views:1811 |

Description: Beijing, May 10 (ANI): External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid has informed that China has not yet given any reason for the recent intrusion by the People's Liberation Army of China in Ladakh. Khurshid, who held talks with his counterpart Wang Yi said both sides had expressed "satisfaction" over the fact that the stand-off in Ladakh was resolved peacefully through existing mechanisms. When asked whether there was any degree of clarity on why Chinese troops intruded, Khurshid said. It is not clear why it happened. They were not offering that background and we were not asking for it at this stage.
