Description: New Delhi, May 22 (ANI): Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who had last week surrendered in a Mumbai Jail was today secretly shifted to the Yerawada Central Jail in Pune. The actor was taken from the high-security Arthur Road Central Jail in south Mumbai in a van around midnight and transferred to the Yerawada Central Jail in Pune early Wednesday, due to security reasons and to avoid media glare. The filmstar, who has been convicted in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case for illegal possession of weapons, was brought to Arthur Road Jail on May 16, hours after he surrendered at a special TADA court amid much chaos. Hundreds of people, including cameramen, crowded his car. The actor was able to get out and make his way into the courtroom only after about 20 minutes and with much difficulty. Views:758 |

Description: Gumla, May 19 (ANI): Police have arrested four cadres of the People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI) who were acting as messengers of Maoists in Gumla district of Jharkhand. Talking to media persons, Inspector of Police of Gumla district, Amitesh Hussain said that the sympathizers used to pass on the police movement to their Maoist commander Sanjay Tiger. The four arrested were involved in passing on information about police activities to PLFI. Description: NEW DELHI, May 18 (ANI): BJP vice president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Saturday said that the Congress led UPA government is responsible for lower level of corruption after a CBI coal scam investigator was arrested for taking bribe to settle a dispute. The CBI had arrested the chief investigator in the coal blocks allotment case for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs.7 lakh to "settle" a land dispute for a businessman. Echoing similar sentiments BJP spokesperson Balbir Punj said that the Supreme Court should constitute an SIT to investigate the coalgate and the SIT should work directly under the supervision of the Supreme Court. The arrested persons are Superintendent of Police Vivek Dutt and Inspector Rajesh. They were arrested outside the CBI's headquarters.
