| FBI arrests Mississippi man as suspect in Ricin letters | |

Description: Lee County, Mississippi, April 18 (ANI): The FBI said that it arrested Paul Kevin Curtis of Corinth, Mississippi, in connection with letters sent to U.S. officials, including U.S. President Barack Obama, tainted with the deadly poison ricin. Curtis is "believed to be responsible for the mailings of the three letters sent through the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, which contained a granular substance that preliminarily tested positive for ricin," the FBI said. According to the FBI, the letters were addressed to the White House, Republican U.S. Senator Roger Wicker of Mississippi, and a Mississippi justice official. Views:192 |

Description: New Delhi, March 26(ANI): Tamil Nadu chief minister, J Jaylalithaa said on Tuesday that her government will prevent all matches hosting Sri Lankan players, umpires and even support staff for the event. In a letter to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister said that the state government will permit IPL matches in Tamil Nadu, only if organizers provide an undertaking that no Sri Lankan players, umpires, officials or support staff participate in these matches. Justifying her stand Jayalalithaa stated that the participation of Sri Lankan players in the IPL tournament might offend the sentiments of the people of the state and will aggravate an already surcharged atmosphere.
