Description: Rajkot, May 4 (ANI): The demand of gold has soared up in Rajkot, ahead of Akshaya Tritiya. Jewellers admit that their business has improved in the past few weeks. There is more demand for the daily-wear ornaments, coins and lightweight jewellery. Gold has surged to a record high nearing Rs. 22,000 per 10 grams following a global surge.
