Description:Jaipur, May 27 (ANI): Reacting to the demand made by the opposition for reducing tax on petrol prices, Rajasthan Chief Minister, Ashok Gehlot today said that his government had already reduced Value Added Tax (VAT) FROM 28 to 26 percent in the 2012-13 budget on March 26. India's state-run oil firms raised the price of petrol by 7.50 rupees - including taxes - for the first time in more than six months, in a gesture of fiscal discipline that economists claimed was unlikely to give a significant lift to the embattled rupee.
