US Senate cuts aid to Pak

Description:Washington, DC /Islamabad, May 25 (ANI): US Senate panel has voted unanimously to cut aid to Pakistan by $ 33 million in response to the conviction of a Pakistani doctor Shakil Afridi who helped CIA to find Osama bin Laden. Condemning the act, the US secretary of state Hillary Clinton had called for his release on the grounds that his work served Pakistani and American interests. Meanwhile, Pakistan has urged U.S. to respect its decision.
