Description : Patna,July 31 (ANI): Chanting in praise of Lord Shiva, devotees in Patna, have been attracting attention of one all. Known as Kanwarias, these devotees are carrying a 54 feet long Kanwar, a pole to carry water fetched form River Ganga or other river sources in pots tied to the pole. This ritual of fetching water from the river and bringing it back in pots tied to a Kanwar, on foot, for offering to Lord Shiva at the temple in one's own town or neighbourhood is a ritual observed by Hindus during monsoon.
