Painting exhibition dedicated to women artists pulls in major crowd
Description : Shimla,February 09 (ANI):The painting exhibition,showcasing works of renowned women artistes representing the female form in sundry imaginative ways,is pulling in lots of art freaks in Shimla,these days.This month long exhibition has been jointly organized by National Lalit Art Academy,and the Language and Culture Department of Himachal Pradesh,to mark International Women's Day,which is celebrated every year on March 08.In all,there are 38 paintings on display,by eminent women artists,including Arpana Caur,Devyani Krishna, Arpita Singh,Kavita Nayar,Wahida Ahmed,Rini Dhumal,Madhavi Parekh and Anjani Reddy,amongst others.
